In the past year I have been cooking a lot of recipes from the "How Not To Die Cookbook". I feel like it is time to talk about my experiences.
Initially I did NOT like the cookbook. I cooked two recipes that called for a lot of nutritional yeast. My family did not like them. I stopped using the cookbook for a while. I got to a point where I really needed some new plant based recipes so I gave it a try again.. but this time I left out the nutritional yeast.. Wow what a difference.. the recipes tasted great and my family loves them. The purple cabbage cole slaw recipe is one of my favorites.
Book Worming Blog
This is a blog about books. These have been read by a couple of members of our family. The family that reads together.. talks about their books :-) So far a lot of the teen books I have read are kind of like teen harlequin romance novels.. these ones most likely will just be read by me. I am trying to avoid these ..but this is not so easy... there are a ton.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a book by Jeff Kinney. It's about how wimpy kid Greg is going to middle school a place where they mix teens and kids. The illustrations are very funny and so is Greg. Not only is school bad but at home he has a older brother named Rodrick and younger brother named Manny, and on top of all that he has to worry about the cheese touch. I rate this 5 out of 5 stars. Cookbook Review
I got a new cookbook.. it is titled..The Complete Cookbook, Vegetarian Tasty Recipes for Every Day . It is a decent cookbook..The price was great about 7$ at Barnes and Nobles.. and even cheaper on Amazon.com(If you don't mind waiting) I love that it has tons of pictures. I also love that it has the nutrition information on the book. This helps me try to watch my calorie intake. The instructions are easy to follow. I will update this post when I have cooked more with the cookbook.

The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games is one of the more recent books that we have read as a family. We have read the trilogy completely and seen the move. I loved reading the first book, The Hunger Games, it was great. The second book, "Catching Fire" was a good read as well. When I read, "Mocking Jay", I thought the series lost a lot. I found the third book to be kind of depressing, I found that the series really needed a strong presence of a happy joyful Peeta in it for me to enjoy it. However it is still worth reading.
Recently we went to the movie. We loved it. It was as true as it could have been.. especially in the 2-3 hours they were allowed for a movie.
